Look: Erickson Lubin sparring hard for Jorge Cota WBC eliminator

By Probox 0

Erickson “The Hammer” Lubin held an intense 10-round sparring session as part of his preparations for his upcoming fight with Jorge Cota on March 4 at the Barclays Center in New York.

Lubin worked with different fighters on Wednesday at the GYM in Orlando, Fla. Among them his teammate Edgar Berlanga who arrived from NY to help his friend Lubin.

After his intense work, Erikson Lubin and his team briefly chatted with Rey Sanchez about the next fight:

“I am excited, I worked with several colleagues today and I feel strong and anxious to get into the ring to fight. This fight against Cota is eliminator and the most important of my career. Then I’ll have more time to put my mind on the world title fight against Jermell Charlo,” says Lubin.

“I understand that Cota is strong and has power, this will be a great fight and I am working to defeat him. Little by little I’m getting better in my physical condition and next March-04 I’ll be there in NY to give the fans a great fight”

“Lubin and the team are focused on this fight against Cota. Many people ask us for Charlo, but we must win Cota first and then think about Jermell. We are working hard and we are going to defeat Cota” Said coach Jason Galarza.

“I came to Orlando today to see up close the work that Lubin and the whole team are doing. I am satisfied Lubin showed that this training camp has been excellent. He has a difficult fight against Cota, but I think Lubin is ready to achieve great things at super welterweight,” said Garry Jonas, CEO of PROBOX Management.
